About Us
Fingertips is a well-established, warm, friendly, family-run local preschool and nursery based on two sites. Our settings are happy, nurturing and rich environments where children can explore, discover, learn and grow in confidence. Fingertips was founded in 2010 by Jenny and Shaun who pioneered forest school in Harpenden in 2011. We found that with these two pedagogical approaches, children developed at an accelerated rate.
We have a team of highly qualified and experienced staff and certified level 3 Forest School practitioners. We provide a variety of care for 2 – 5-year olds, 5 days a week for 38 weeks of the year.

Established to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment, we offer both indoor and outdoor learning opportunities where children can explore, create and grow.
Fingertips Woodland
Nursery
Based in the beautiful woodland area of Manland Primary School, where we are able to offer Day-care from 8am till 4pm with the option of an extended hour till 5pm.

Based in the beautiful Forest area of Luton Hoo Estate, where we are able to offer Day-care from 8am till 4pm with the option of an extended hour till 5pm.

Our new setting will boast an extensive outdoor space, converted stable indoor setting and a private forest, just 5 minutes drive from our other locations in Harpenden.
